Why are you cheaper than anyone else? It's great - isn't it! Seriously though, after re-engineering and designing our solutions we canvassed the world for the best quality componetry that met our high standards but didn't break the bank. We've also removed all of the bells, whistles, electronics and toys from the systems. What you get is easy to use and long lasting with most of the wear items such as filters available locally to you.

How long will my system take to get here?We should have your system in stock. It may take a day or so to construct it and add any requests to it. It's then up to the courier company. Sometimes demand outstrips supply and we have to wait for our suppliers. We'll keep in contact with you every stage of the way should there be a delay.

How hard is it to install? We supply a comprehensive installation manual and operation guide that should make it easy for a home handyman to install. Failing that, you'll find your local plumber, handyman, boat mechanic may have the necessary skills to assist you. If that's a dead end, get in touch and we may know someone in your area.

How often do you need to replace the filters or membrane? It's dependent on how much sedimentation is in the water near you. The filter cartridges are standard 10" ones and easily accessible. They can be replaced cheaply and easily. You can buy them on eBay or at most plumbing store or water filter shops. They don't need replacing every time though as you can remove them and hose them down to remove most of the grime. Regarding the reverse osmosis membrane (RO) - this is the heart of the system and should give you many years of use. There are a number of procedures you should follow to ensure no damage is done though: - Always start the system with the pressure valve open so the membrane doesn't get a shock - Always open the pressure valve fully before turning off the high pressure pump - Always flush the system with fresh water after each use. It reduces biological growth - Make sure there is water in your tank or that the system is connected to your town water by hose for the weekly automated flush - If you are shutting the system down for weeks or months you can 'pickle the membrane'. This will allow many months of storage without use. This information is included in your instruction manual supplied.

How can I know the quality of the water produced? We supply each system with a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) digital meter. This reads the number of parts per million (ppm) of contaminates in the water. Fresh water has generally up to 500 ppm. Our system runs normally at under 100 ppm. You can read about this on Wikipedia here
